Various Ways of Interaction
With the help of the Active Class system, the space between teachers and students at different campuses can be narrowed to face-to-face-like communication. The participants can talk to each other, see the video images, chat in message box, and transfer documents. During the class, teachers may leave in-class assignments for students to write on the computer screen and then comment or make corrections on the answers on the white board showing the computer screen, which serves as a highly effective way of knowledge reviewing. |
Three roles
The possible participants involved are assigned three roles: lecturer class, interactive class, listener class. Lecturer class, as the main instructor, has the right to control the whole teaching process; interactive class can not take control, but once authorized it can directly communicate with the lecturer class; listener class is the class left that can only listen to the lecturer class when one class is chosen as the interactive class. One system may allow many listener classes but only one interactive class and one lecturer class can be selected. |

Simple operation
It is unreasonable and time-consuming to ask teachers to change their long-formed teaching styles to suit the operation of new teaching software. The things Active Class needs teachers to do are to login the software and choose the course materials. Even these two steps can also be saved by setting in advance and the only thing left is to turn on the computer. |
High-definition Mode
Active Class supports high-definition video mode. For users with better network conditions, they can choose this model to improve the quality of teaching videos. |
